Olympic Games opening ceremony
July 18 to July 26
From July 18 and until the opening ceremony on July 26, significant restrictions apply to bicycles and pedestrians near the banks of the Seine, the SILT security perimeter will control and restrict access: Only authorized people with a Games Pass will be able to enter it.
The upper banks is closed to bicycles between the Pont Bir Hakeim and the Pont d'Austerlitz.
If you do not have a Games Pass, only 3 bridges will remain open between the Bir Hakeim bridge and the Pont d'Austerlitz:

The Pont des Invalides;

The Notre-Dame bridge and the Petit Pont Cardinal Lustiger one-way from North to South;

The Sully bridge
Closed velib' stations
In preparation for the opening ceremony, several Vélib' stations will be closed until the evening of July 27.

Concorde and Invalides area
From July 2 until October 2024
From July 2 until October 2024, several lanes will be closed to bicycle, pedestrian and vehicle traffic:

The Alexandre III Bridge;

The Place de la Concorde;

The Concorde Tunnel, connecting the Quai des Tuileries to the Avenue des Champs-Elysées;

The Cours la Reine is closed entirely between the Pont des Invalides and the Pont Alexandre III;
-
Closure of the left bank promenade between the Pont Royal and the Pont d'Iéna: access to the lower quays closed to bicycles throughout this sector;
-
Closure of the right bank promenade between the Louis Philipe bridge and the Senghor footbridge. The Tuileries tunnel also closed to bicycle traffic;
-
The two-way lane on the left bank will be closed between the Debilly footbridge and the Pont des Invalides. Bicycle lane will be maintained on site in both directions with diversions;

Closure of the two-way lane on the left bank promenade between between the Pont de la Concorde and the Pont Royal. Bicycles will not be allowed to go against the flow of traffic towards St-Michel on this section. Please divert through rue de Lille and rue de Beaune. Detour signs will be put in place.
Recommended deviation

Via the left bank (Quai d'Orsay and Anatole France). Between the Pont des Invalides and the Pont Royal, bicycle diversion via rue de Lille towards St-Michel or Châtelet

Bypass Place de la Concorde from the west (one-way avenue Gabriel, avenue Dutuit then onto Cours la Reine).

By avenue des Champs-Elysées and avenue Roosevelt
Right bank - Parc Rives de Seine sector
From June 27 to August 1 2024
The Rives de Seine Park on the right bank is closed from Île Saint-Louis to the Tuileries.
The Tuileries tunnel is also closed.
Recommended deviation
Via the left bank from Invalides and Tour-Eiffel and via rue de Rivoli to reach Châtelet and Saint-Lazare.
Trocadero sector
From July 15 until October 2024

Avenue des Nations-Unies is closed to bicycles, pedestrian and vehicle traffic on both sides of the Jardin du Trocadéro. Rue Le Nôtre and Avenue Albert de Mun remain open in both directions.

Place de Varsovie is closed to westbound bicycle traffic towards Boulogne. Bicycle traffic is diverted onto a cycle path under by the Warsaw tunnel.

One-way lane on Avenue Wilson between Place de l'Alma and Rue de Lubeck. Diversion for cyclists towards the center of Paris via rue de Lubeck and rue Boissière.

The Debilly footbridge is closed to bicycles and pedestrians until July 31.

The Pont de l'Alma is closed to bicycle traffic from the left bank to the right. In the opposite direction, traffic remains open to bicycles.
