"On the road to enlightenment: nature's lights
From volcanic eruptions to fireflies, fluorites and the northern lights: the Jardin des Plantes (5e) is launching its new light trail with great fanfare! This year, we're invited to explore the hidden lights of the plant and animal world, as well as the mineral and celestial worlds! Combining new technologies, poetry and science, this fabulous expedition offers an ever more impressive and immersive experience.
"Luminous Odyssey" at the Parc Floral
When night falls, the magic happens at the Parc Floral de Paris (12th arrondissement), which lights up to make way for a stroll dazzling with poetry. You'll be swept away by multiple tableaux that take you to the North Pole and its Inuits, to poetic Japan and the South American jungle. We'll also be captivated by the spectacular ballet of drones in the sky, imagined by artist Alberto Leone, who will make immense luminous bubbles dance. A magical experience.
"Light Cycles" at La Villette
Combining light, music and digital art, "Light Cycles" will transform the Parc de la Villette (19th arrondissement) into a glittering nocturnal spectacle. As soon as night falls, you'll stroll through an urban oasis revealing the beauties of nature. Five installations will reveal themselves to the curious eye for daydreaming, meditation, travel and more.
"Lumières en Seine" at the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud
"Lumières en Seine" will dress up the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud (92) in sparkling lights. From the Route des Étoiles to the Symphonie des Éléments, via the Champ de Luminescences, the Grande Cascade and the Forêt Cosmique: this route, where light becomes spectacle, will put glitter in our lives… sorry, in our eyes! Gourmets will not be left out, and will be delighted by the pretzels, New York hot dogs, burgers and sweet treats on offer in the gourmet chalets.
"Japan in the spotlight" at the Jardin d'Acclimatation
Head for Japan with the new light trail at the Jardin d'Acclimatation (16th arrondissement). For this new nocturnal experience, we're going on a three-stop journey! First stop: L'Empire des Traditions, with its majestic torii and samurai silhouettes. We continue to Odyssée pop-moderne, where kawaii monsters , arcade games and manga rub shoulders. Finally, we return to Le Jardin des Songes to bring this adventure to a serene close, surrounded by Japanese nature.
"Le Bal des esprits" at Thoiry
Cheerful, mischievous spirits invade the magnificent Zoo de Thoiry (77) to light up the end of the year. Inspired by the colorful celebration of Mexico's Día de los Muertos, "Le Bal des esprits" will feature over 3,000 light sculptures and an immersive soundscape that will immerse visitors in a fairytale atmosphere. From South Pacific to South Asia, from Africa to Latin America, benevolent spirits will rub shoulders with colorful masks and legendary animals to bring each painting to life!
