Many have dreamed of it, but now it's a reality: amateur athletes will use the same route as the Olympic marathon!
Held at night on August 10, 2024, the sensations will be multiplied tenfold on a new and original course, which will honor the heritage and history of the hexagon and the Paris region.
Two new races
Two race formats are offered to those who pick up their bibs. The two races, unique in the history of the Games and run at night, offer an extraordinary sporting, sensory and emotional experience in a rediscovered Paris by night.
The marathon
A marathon format, the ultimate distance, will be run on the same course as the Olympic athletes. This 42.195km race is open to all those who dream of surpassing themselves, and of experiencing an exceptional moment in the wake of the Olympic athletes, on a course that will also be the stage for the exploits of the men's and women's athletes vying for the Olympic marathon title. Open to everyone aged 20 and over, this night marathon, which will start in front of the Hôtel de Ville and finish on the Esplanade des Invalides, promises to be unforgettable.

The 10km
A shorter format, open to all but more accessible than a 42km format, will be introduced over 10km, also run at night. The 10km will follow a route rich in monuments and iconic sites right in the heart of Paris, with a host of events to give everyone an intense and unforgettable experience.
Accessible from the age of 16, this race will be open to all profiles, young or old, disabled or not, for a magical moment in the heart of Paris. The 10km course will be accessible to all people with disabilities, whatever their specific needs (guide, use of a wheelchair, joëlette, etc.), provided they are at least 16 years old by December 31, 2024.
