En Bal & Vous, an intergenerational, festive and creative concert for all in the 19th arrondissement.

En Bal & vous : A ball where parents, children, friends and neighbors can meet and share a festive moment of dance. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone finds their place: in the round, in a farandole, in pairs, in a line, we play with rhythm and space to share a festive moment.

Frédérique and Katharina, both dancers and choreographers, lead the way. The dances are part of a process in which memories of traditional group dances resonate with contemporary influences. Likewise, the musicians, from a variety of musical backgrounds, take us on a joyful flight to music from Ireland and elsewhere.

The dances are performed live, using simple movements guided by Frédérique on the microphone. The learning process is rapid and takes place to music. Choreographed dances alternate with moments of guided improvisation. Everyone can join in!
