On May 3, the Fatras and CC0 evening brings together Béni, Donkey, Lil Zamm and Tydi S on stage.
BÉNI
Beninese rapper from the 95 region, Béni's photography is sensational, with clips worthy of cinematic works (cf. Soldats). A fine lyricist and storyteller, Béni expresses his joys and sorrows through the microphone. The artist has a certain power on stage and can adapt to any environment: concerts on a barge, open-mics, opening acts. Béni can also transform himself into a host, as he demonstrated at the preview screening of his Soldats video, when he decided to rent out the Brady cinema and fill the room with over a hundred people.
DONKEY
A founding member of the Parisian collective Fatras, Donkey knows the 18th arrondissement like the back of his hand. Last month, the Parisian artist was invited to rap on the legendary Boule Noire stage. The multi-platform event featured talented artists such as Nuev, La Financière and Kabbsky, with guest appearances by the likes of Jolagreen23 and Kerchak, organized by the Petits Artistes collective. Barely a week after this event, the artist and his collective organized a multi-artist platter at the Péniche Anako. The event drew over a hundred people once again, and despite his role as organizer, this stage enthusiast took the liberty of delivering a performance to an enthusiastic audience.
LIL ZAMM
Originally from Paris, Lil Zamm expresses himself through words set to electrifying melodies. Backed by a strong community, the artist is beginning to find success in the Parisian sphere. His music has a suspiciously electric edge, capable of turning crowds upside down live. On Friday, May 3, he'll be performing his first headlining set, playing his latest EP, BÄCKSTÄB, released on February 23, with the flagship sound of the Dana White project.
TYDI S
A young French artist, Tydi S has been active in the music industry since 2020. His music is deep and sincere, but leaves plenty of room for musical freedom. Despite a limited presence with a few singles and a first project "Rollback" released this year, Tydi S's artistic universe is extremely rich and well studied. As one of the artists to watch over the coming months, there's no doubt that he has a card to play in changing the industry's dimension. Already covered by a number of influential media (La Pépite, Kursus), his vocal timbre, melodies and risk-taking make him a clear standout in an industry that's always on the lookout for something new.
