During the Olympic fortnight, the Mayor of Paris exchanged views with personalities from all over the world, both political and sporting. It was an opportunity to showcase Paris on the international stage, and to renew the city's commitment to the causes it holds dear.
Dedicated to climate protection and international solidarity, the capital readily establishes pacts of friendship and cooperation with other cities, including Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Rich and varied, the capital city is a melting pot of cultures and histories that converge, interact, and make Paris a city known for its hospitality, tolerance, solidarity, and openness.
The Olympic and Paralympic Games also promote these values, and are an opportunity for the city to meet and exchange ideas with other international players.
