A figure of Parisian nightlife and the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Barbara Butch will propose her vision for the next Nuit Blanche, which will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
After the 2025 edition, dedicated for the first time to cinema and directed by Valérie Donzelli, the 25th Nuit Blanche continues to think outside the box. Artistic direction will be entrusted to Barbara Butch in 2026.
DJ and event producer Barbara Butch defines herself as an "activist for love". An emblematic figure on the Parisian cultural and nightlife scene, she turns partying into a space for expression and freedom, celebrating diversity, body-positivity and LGBTQIA+ visibility. She has created unmissable events bringing together a wide and eclectic audience around values of inclusion and collective joy.
In 2024, she took part in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, bringing to a global stage her commitment to a festive, universal culture open to all. Her career has also led her to collaborate with numerous artists and cultural institutions, combining music and art.

Nuit Blanche will be a grand celebration of love, with music as a central element.

artistic director of nuit blanche
"A few years ago, I took part in Nuit Blanche by playing at the Georges Vallerey swimming pool. It was an extraordinary experience to make people dance while they bathed. And that's what Nuit Blanche is all about, discovering or rediscovering the city through the prism of art in all its forms, be it cinema, music or contemporary art… For 2026, my Nuit Blanche is going to be a great celebration of love, where music will be a central element. The dance floor will be there to bring together people who don't know each other. It's going to be incredible!" declared Barbara Butch.
