The parking PassAutocar allows coaches to park in Paris, once or twice in the majority of the public parking areas and in all bays reserved for coaches on the streets. It is aimed at encouraging and facilitating a systematic use of bays reserved for tourist coaches. In so doing, negative and harmful effects on local inhabitants of traffic or vehicles stopping, are kept to a minimum.
In every central coach park and in certain bays on roads in central Paris, the PassAutocar only allows up to 3 hours parking accumulated within a time period from 8h to 19h.

Is it compulsory?
Yes, for all parking, all stops in Paris lasting beyond 15 minutes. The parking PassAutocar replaces all other types of payment. All parking spaces on roads are charged since June 2003.

The Subscriber PassAutocar
Coach companies which come to Paris regularly can request the benefit of the Subscriber PassAutocar. It can be used more flexibly and avoids using a code of access. It enables large quantities of individual passes to be acquired, with limited duration validity, and cheaper individually than their original price.
The company has to sign an agreement regarding quality and good practice (adherence to regulations, vehicle pollution norms). If a company does not abide by its committments, it will no longer be authorised to buy new individual units at a reduced tariff.
The Subscriber PassAutocar doesn't exclude the use of day PassAutocar by the same company.

Individual PassAutocar are purchased ahead of time on the Internet, the quantity relating to the needs of the pass-holder (with a minimum of 800 units). They have a 90 day validity, debited when the cards are scanned at the entrance and exit of the parking areas and the parking bays on the roads.

» How to obtain it? How to use it?

The Subscriber PassAutocar takes the form of an A4 sticker showing the name of the month and a card used in the scanners when gaining access to the parking areas or at other moments in the pay and display machines on public streets.

The Shuttle River Boat PassAutocar

Travel organisers or coach companies who have booked a river bus trip to get to Notre Dame can take advantage of a special parking pass, with a validity for four consecutive hours (from time of arrival) in a peripheral parking area (Bercy or Pershing Parking Areas). They obtain from the central reservation centre of shuttle river boats, a reservation number for a given group and date. Once the reservation has been made, the coach operator will, from that point on, be able to buy a "shuttle river boat pass" for the same day, on entering his reservation number on the site "autocars.paris.fr."
