A legendary venue
The venue was created by Jacques Canetti, an outstanding producer and founder of the Trois Baudets theatre in 1947. Many major accomplished French singers performed here (Brassens, Brel, Moustaki, Gainsbourg, Vian, Salvador, etc.). The City of Paris has decided to bring the legendary venue back to life and to help bring new music to the stage. In doing so, it is forging a modern alliance between cultural policy and grassroots activity.

Come to Les trois baudets 300 days a year!
Song Club 300 days a year, Tuesday to Saturday evening and Sunday during the day, Les trois baudets offers concerts by performers playing a single gig in Paris, a series of dates, or a longer run of fewer than three weeks. Shows for young people
The same show for a younger audience is offered 1-3 times per week over one month: Tuesday afternoons for schoolchildren and Wednesday afternoons for outdoor activity centres and families and Sundays at 11am before or after brunch. After performances for younger people, there are opportunities to meet the performers (songwriters, composers and musicians), to swap ideas, to listen, to find out more about the songs and to learn about stagecraft.
Cultural activities
Song workshops provide support for amateur and experienced songwriters alike. Lectures and discussions take place throughout the season on a variety of themes (a performer, a particular style of music, an instrument or a country, etc.).
Les trois baudets is transformed into a public listening room offering a unique sensory experience: hear a new album upon its release in the best possible auditory environment.
Facilities are available for artists to present their latest album, book or film at signings and showcases.
