The Nuit Blanche in Paris

The Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est, Gare de Lyon and Gare de Bercy train stations, Montparnasse and Saint-Germain, Saint-Lazare and the Champs-Elysées, the Saint-Jacques tower and the Marais district: check out all the venues, events and artists on the special Nuit Blanche 2008 website. This major celebration of contemporary art is taking over Paris on Saturday 4 October.
French, Swiss, Japanese, American, Indian and British artists will exhibit their work and the legendary singer Patti Smith will perform at Saint-Germain-des-Prés church. Nuit Blanche is open to all and free of charge until 6am on 5 October. The event has been adopted and adapted by many cities (Brussels, Chicago, Montreal, Gaza, Madrid, Rome, Miami, Toronto, etc.).
