The film: trailer in English
1910: Paris is flooded. A monster is spreading panic. He is pursued by the fearsome Prefect Maynott, but cannot be found. What if the best hiding place was "l'Oiseau Rare" (The Rare Bird), a cabaret where Lucille, the star of Montmartre, sings? Eric Bergeron, the co-director of Shark Tale, entrusted the composition of the music to the French singer Matthieu Chedid. Chedid is also the voice of one of the characters, together with Vanessa Paradis, François Cluzet and Gad Elmaleh. In the film’s title song, "The Seine", Francoeur expresses his loneliness and ensuing sadness.
