Contraptions illustrating this famous French scientist’s life and work, and the Byzantine chapel where he is buried. The museum is in the southern wing of the original Institut Pasteur building, which was inaugurated in 1888. It opened in 1936 and remembers Louis Pasteur’s life and work in the vast apartment he lived in during the last seven years of his life.
