How to visit the Hôtel de Ville in Paris ?

And discover the unseen side of the organisation of the Conseil de Paris (Paris Council), the City’s services and the major events organised in front of the “Home of Parisians”. Visits are free throughout the year.
Do you long to discover the Hôtel de Ville? This prestigious building, located in central Paris, can be visited free of charge! It is an opportunity to enter this historic monument, constructed at the end of the 19th century. It is the administrative centre of the municipality, housing the Mayor’s office, the Conseil de Paris (Paris Council), reception and exhibition rooms, etc.
The Protocol Department organises free visits of the Hôtel de Ville‘s Reception Rooms, with commentary, from Monday to Friday.

You are recommended to book your visit approximately two months in advance – but late-comers can also try their luck!

For individual visitors
A weekly visit is available in French for approximately 30 people. Two weekly visits are organised in summer.
Attention: the dates and times are fixed on the Thursday preceding the visit.
